Egypt has recently unveiled a 3,000-year-old sarcophagus, containing the mummified remains of an ancient Egyptian priest.

Discovered in the Saqqara necropolis near Cairo, this sarcophagus is attributed to the 21st Dynasty, approximately 1000 BCE.

The find was part of an extensive excavation that revealed multiple burial shafts filled with well-preserved mummies, intricate statues, and a variety of artifacts.
