The State, which was led by Sheilla Kudzai Maribha, said that Takudzwa met the person in question, whose name was kept secret for specific reasons, at a Nyau dance event in Shamva on January 7 and asked her to be his girlfriend.
He is said to have taken her to his room and raped her once without using anything to protect himself.
At that point, the man and the mentally disabled teen went back to the Nyau dance event, but the victim went home because it was too late.
After her auntie questioned her about where she was, she told her that she had been raped.
“I asked her where she went, but she wouldn’t tell me. So I decided to test her. I thought she might have gone to his boyfriend’s house to sleep, but she told me the truth that she had been raped.” What did Auntie say?
