People are standing on the melting ice cubes with a noose around their neck. The faster the ice cubes melt, the faster they are going to die.
The whole world is standing in the same situation as these people and many of us don’t even realize. The glaciers are melting at an alarming rate because of global warming.
We are already late, we must act before it gets too late!
Edit:
Rainforests are responsible for roughly one-third (28%) of the Earth’s oxygen but most (70%) of the oxygen in the atmosphere is produced by marine plants. The remaining 2 percent of Earth’s oxygen comes from other sources. The ocean produces oxygen through the plants (phytoplankton, kelp, and algal plankton) that live in it. Centuries of over-exploitation of whales for their meat and blubber has seen populations of most species plummet. But with no small amount of irony, the tables have turned with research discovering that we need whales for a healthy marine ecosystem, or at least their poop.
