The mummy of Queen Nodjmetca, dating back to 1069-945 BCE, is an important relic from the Third Intermediate Period during the 21st Dynasty.

It is currently displayed in the Egyptian Museum located in Cairo, Egypt.

Nodjmet, also known as Nedjmet or Notmit, was a prominent noblewoman in ancient Egypt, particularly during the late 20th and early 21st dynasties. She is best known as the spouse of Herihor, who held the esteemed position of High Priest of Amun in Thebes.

The mummy of Queen Nodjmet was discovered in the Deir el-Bahari cache (TT320). It is notable for its artificial eyes crafted from contrasting black and white stones, as well as genuine hair eyebrows and an elaborate wig. To enhance her realistic appearance, her body and facial features were meticulously painted. The torso was filled with sawdust, and her arms were positioned alongside her body. Notably, her heart was found preserved among her remains.

Within the layers of her wrappings, archaeologists unearthed a heart scarab and four small figurines representing the Four Sons of Horus. Furthermore, the embalming incisions, along with her eyes, nose, mouth, and ears, were sealed with wax.
